I'm surprised there aren't more vegan females - of all the people who can empathise with the trauma and unspeakable horror a mother endures when she is separated from her baby, I would expect women, or atleast maternal women, to be in the greatest number. Both cow and calf suffer and bellow for days after separation, in order for humans to consume milk - a baby food we have no requirement for after weaning.

I agree, male are more principle-ridden to pull it through all the way.

If the research was done through a vegetarian channel, the result is likely to be tipped in favor of vegetarians & vegans, but maybe it was a gerneral research.
Not surprised that less men want to b vegetarian but more are vegan,
cause meat & male energy is similar (Yang), but once they made up their mind, they probably were more principle-ridden to pull it through all the way.
No judgement on diets or gender here, just thoughts.

They should break it down by state. I live in California-so cal and everyone in my office is a veg-head.
