by Kathy Patalsky Β· updated: Mar 23, 2020 Β· published: Jan 3, 2013 Β· About 3 minutes to read this article. 15 Comments

Thank you Healthy Happy Life readers for making 2012 a fantastic year! My blog had over 12 million pageviews in 2012 - over 28,000 fans on Facebook and over 100,000 followers on Twitter - and that means many people were checking out how delicious, rewarding and fun a vegan life can be!

My other site, Finding Vegan also had an amazing year! The site reached over 20,000 posts! Recipes submitted from bloggers all over the web. I was also happy to continue to bring vegan recipes to Disney's Babble.com site as a Family Kitchen daily content contributor.

I was so glad to share my vegan creations with you guys and I loved hearing from all of you about how my recipes turned out and how your friends and family enjoyed them. You guys are what makes my job so special and rewarding. So thank you! I am excited to venture into 2013 when I will share more recipes, wellness tips and bring you guys my first book: 365 Vegan Smoothies, published by Penguin Group!

But for today, check out the Top 30 Posts of 2012 - ranked by number of pageviews. And I think number one is no surprise πŸ˜‰ ...

Absolutely love the matcha recipe πŸ™‚ I'm so sad that watermelon isn't in season! It takes more effort to find but it's worth it just for the matcha deliciousness. Have you ever thought of using matcha more in other recipes? I put it into pretty much everything I eat but it's difficult to bring out the flavor when combined with other ingredients.

Though I spend a lot of time on your blog (I know one of your recipes on Pinterest just from familiarity with your photo style!), the Philly Cheese Steak was revolutionary for my husband and I. He's been pretty open to trying things, but seitan and vegan cheese were outside of both of our comfort zones! It was so delicious, though, we've actually had to limit how often we make it!

Your Philly cheesesteak is one of my go-to recipes for impressing non-vegans. I even made about 30 servings for a huge animal sanctuary potluck. It was gone in a blink (before I ever had a chance to have a little)! That is definitely my favorite of the year.

My favorite recipe for 2012 if I had to choose one was the Senate Bean soup. Yum! I love your recipes with their easy to follow instructions and beautiful photography. I know I have asked you this before, but when is your cookbook coming out? Thanks to this post, my mouth was watering and I got so hungry that I ate lunch at 11:00 AM. LOL I love your site.

Your recipes are the best! I'm so happy I found your blog this year. I've made several of the recipes from this list (and many others from your blog), and everything has been incredible. It's impossible to choose a favorite, but I make your tuna fish free sandwiches and smoky tempeh cubes all the time. I also love the sweet 'n smoky tofu cashew broccoli bowl. There are still so many things I want to try, especially the sweet potato burgers!
