No-Bake Double Chocolate Super Amazing Granola Bars
By Published 05/15/2014
Chocolate-infused no-bake granola bars made using rolled oats, nuts, seeds and natural sweeteners like maple syrup!
Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 4 tablespoon chia seeds
- 5 Brazil nuts, chopped
- 2 tablespoon extra virgin coconut oil, melted
- 2 - 2 ½ tablespoon nut butter (almond or peanut)
- 3 pinches pink salt
- ½ teaspoon turmeric (optional, sub with cinnamon)
- ¾ cup sprouted raw pumpkin seeds, salted
- 1 ½ tablespoon cocoa powder, unsweetened
- 2 tablespoon mini chocolate chips, vegan
- 2 tablespoon - ⅓ cup maple syrup, grade B
- 1-2 tablespoon vegan chocolate chips (for chocolate drizzle)
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil (for chocolate drizzle)
Instructions
- Add all the ingredients to a large mixing bowl and blend well until combined.
- Line a small casserole or baking dish with parchment paper.
- Spread the mixture over the parchment paper and flatten with a spatula to smooth.
- Place the dish in the freezer for at least 20-30 minutes to chill.
- Warm the chocolate drizzle mixture in the microwave or stovetop - stir until silky and liquid. About 60 seconds in the microwave is the fast way - simmer on the stove or over a double broiler for the longer way.
- Pull the bars and drizzle or pour the chocolate over top. The chocolate will firm up from the cold bars. Slice and serve or store. Store in the freezer or fridge.

Hey! I'm looking forward to making this recipe, but I was wondering how much does the cup you're using weight?

Seriously, is there anything better than peanut butter, chocolate, granola bars that are also no bake?? I think not!

Kathy, you are adorable, gorgeous, and hilarious! I was very happy to meet Mr. White. Was wondering when we were gonna see more of your new furbabies. The bars looks delish and yes, I have bags of stuff that look that and yes, I measure the same way, and I too fling food on accident. Great video! Thank you. It has inspired me to do more off the cuff items with no recipe, per se, to prepare by. Last-love your makeup. What do you use? I have been using origins for a long time and think I am ready for a change. Other than Gabriel, I haven't tried many other vegan brands.

I think all videos should end with some kitty time 🙂

wow, I think these look deliceous! You can never have too much chocolate in my opinion! Granola bars are so hard for me to do because every time I try them they are too soft or sticky yada yada yada and its a complete waste of food. But I love the look of these and they look pretty easy and hard to mess up, hahaha. Great recipe as usual and I love your video too. What a nice cat!
em!

I do have to ask, where did you get your bunny tank top? And what kind of skin care do you use?
